It’s official!

Ambler Farmers' MarkerAmbler Main Street, the non-profit organization responsible for Restaurant Week, First Fridays in Ambler and many other community events, is thrilled to announce that the Borough of Ambler will be home to a farmers’ market in the spring!

This market will strengthen our community by providing the opportunity to get together every week around food. A weekly farmers’ market is a community asset that will greatly benefit Ambler residents, merchants and business owners.

The Ambler Farmers’ Market is expected to open in May and run through November and will be operated by Farm to City, whose goal is to unite communities, families and farmers through good, locally-grown food. The market will be located in the SEPTA parking lot adjacent to Trax Café.

There is so much exciting news to come, and we will be sure to keep you updated as we move forward. Please “like” the market page on facebook to receive the latest updates. This facebook page also enables us to learn more about what YOU want from your farmers’ market – your feedback is really valued!

We are looking for financial support to help defray the anticipated costs of running the market. We would love if you could help us, any amount is greatly appreciated! Your contribution will be applied toward educational series and workshops planned as a feature of the market as well as weekly operations. Other important goals of the Ambler Farmers’ Market are enabling recipients of EBT/SNAP to shop at the market, to help all make good choices about seasonal food and educating kids about where food comes from. Again, your support is greatly appreciated, please click the link below to contribute! Ambler Main Street is 501(c)3 non-profit organization
