List of Vendors

The 2017 season welcomes a total of 21 vendors, most weekly, some bi-weekly…the most we have ever had since we started back in 2013.

Alice Bakery & Confectionery (North Wales, Pa): Alice sells a variety of savory breads, from your standard French baguette to a Gorgonzola & tri-colored cracked peppercorn bread. Alice also offers several different pastries, including assorted danishes, croissant, muffins, sticky buns, eclairs and also butter cake and various tarts.

Ambler Mushroom Company (Ambler, PA) New Vendor If you’ve ever had a mushroom dish at Dettera, Trax Restaurant and Cafe, 555 Lagiola or a number of other eateries in Ambler, you’ve had Heidi Merscher’s mushrooms. Grown right here in Ambler, these exotic beauties will add heft and earthly deliciousness to every meal – Trumpets, Oyster, and more. Heidi also travels to Kennett Square for the non-exotic essentials – Cremini, Ports, etc.

Apple Tree Goat Dairy (Juniata County, Pa): Apple Tree will offer a large variety of products including, goat milk cheese, cow milk cheese from Lancaster County, yogurt, milk, butter, pork, goat, chicken, turkey, eggs and goat milk soap.

Backyard Beans Coffee Company (Lansdale, PA): Backyard Beans Coffee Company is a small batch, specialty coffee roaster located in Lansdale, PA. Our mission is to make an impact, both near and far. We source only the best, both in quality and purpose. Our coffee comes from storied farms – farms that value their communities and environment, and focus on sustainable farming practices. Sourcing exceptional coffee is the first step we take in creating unique and remarkable products.

Boardroom Spirits (Lansdale, PA) is a family-owned craft distillery that began producing some of Delaware Valley’s finest local vodka, whiskey, brandy, and specialty products in December 2015.

Clay Brick Farms (Lancaster County, Pa): Clay Brick Farms offers a wide array of veggies, some fruit, grass-fed beef, pastured chicken, eggs, jams and pickled products. You won’t find them online, but that’s because they’re too busy focusing on the farm, rest assured, you will be pleased!

Cultivating Joy (Oreland, Pa): Cultivating Joy will offer the freshest cut flowers, nurtured locally and sustainably with a heaping abundance of joy. For your pleasure, an assortment of potted plants and herbs will accompany our seasonal blooms and bouquets at market.

Frecon Farms (Boyertown, Pa): Frecon Farms has been growing some of Pennsylvania’s finest tree fruits since 1944. Throughout the season they will offer cherries, peaches, plums, blueberries, apricots, nectarines, raspberries, apples, pears, pumpkins, and squash. You can also expect cider, hard cider, fruit butters, and more! Coming on the first day, then back in June. 

Forest & Main Brewing Co. (Ambler, PA) Ambler’s own, they will be at market every week with something new and exciting from the brewery. Weekly updates will be on our Facebook page.

Freeland Market (Pottstown, PA) Charcuterie is the art of curing, smoking and cooking meat as a flavor and preservation method. Traditionally these meats include, bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, pâtés, and confit. At Freeland Market we strive to provide the highest quality charcuterie available. From handcrafted terrines to mouth watering pates, we never compromise our standards and we consistently exceed our customer’s expectations.

Howe Sharp Mobile Knife Sharpening (Perkasie, PA) A mobile sharpening service based out of Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Owner Jesse Howe provides sharpening, cleaning, and repair on all types of tools, including knives, garden tools, scissors, and specialty items. Scheduled for 5/6, 5/20, 6/17, 7/15, 8/19, 9/16, 10/21.

Lancaster Hummus Co. (Lancaster, PA) New Vendor (Sort of) They’re baaaaaack! Former vendor turned current, Lancaster Hummus brings, well, hummus of course! They also have guacamole, salsa, local milk cream cheese and more! All made locally and all delicious!

Market Day Canele’ (Philadelphia, PA) New Vendor Makes both savory and sweet tarts for their farmers’ market customers. Their ingredients are irreproachable, using the freshest, most beautifully crafted or grown local products. Also, Canele’ – made in Philadelphia with farm fresh eggs, rGBH free milk and butter, wheat flour, sugar, dark rum, orange zest, fleur de sel, bees wax and vanilla. Bi-Weekly Vendor 

Pennypack Farm and Education Center (Horsham, Pa): Less than five miles from Ambler, it’s hard to get any more local than this! Pennypack offers a wide assortment of organically produced vegetables, as well as, herbs and flowers.

PhilaDillphia Pickling Company (Philadelphia, PA) They have pickled Cucumbers, Carrots, Green Beans, Jalapeños, Beets, Cauliflower, Radishes and more. Their Facebook page describes them as a small Pickling company created to help pay back student loans. Delicious AND pragmatic pickles.

Pie and Plate Cafe (Ambler, PA) New Vendor Ambler’s own pie shop, coming to market to regale patrons with sweet treats. Bi-weekly vendor. 

Ridge Valley Farm (Smneytown, PA) Local Maple Syrup in gallons, 1/2 gallons, quarts and pints and 1/2 pints. Also carrying maple coated walnuts, pecans, maple granola, snack mix, maple BBQ sauce, maple mustard, maple infused balsamic vinegar, maple cream, maple sugar candy and maple granulated sugar. Scheduled For  5/13, 6/10,7/8, 8/12, 9/9,10/14.

Stone & Key Winery (Montgomeryville, PA) New Vendor Stone & Key Cellars strives to obtain only the best grapes from renowned growing regions across California, Washington, Italy, and South America

Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods (West Chester, PA) New Vendor Offers the most amazing, fun, and fresh baked goods, all handmade from scratch using simple ingredients and local ingredients when available! Smiles guaranteed! Gluten-free done delicious!

Taproot Farm (Shoemakersville, PA) Embracing the principles and practices of Organic farming, Taproot Farm produces the highest quality vegetables, fruits and eggs. Taproot Farm is a family farm, founded in 2009 by farmer George Brittenburg and his wife Ola Creston. Together, with their devotion to sustainable agriculture and healthy food, they strive to make the farm an exciting and productive source of healthy, fresh food in the region. 

Tandi’s Naturals (Lancaster, PA) Handcrafted Soaps, Bath and Body, Home Care and other Accessories. All products are made with no artificial fragrances, preservatives, parabens, phthalates or petroleum-derived ingredients as well as no Sodium Lauryl Sulfates or detergents. What you will find are product that use oils, tallow and beeswax from Lancaster County PA, homegrown herbs and pure essential oils which add the great natural scents!

Waffatopia (West Chester, PA) Featured on Food Network and FYI Philly, Brian and Andrea Polizzi bring a rare Belgian street treat to the U.S.. Handmade over a two day, natural process of yeast risen Brioche style dough, their Liege waffles provide a mess-free no-syrup required grab and go for your morning routine. Waffatopia also has a variety of flavors great for mid-day snacks, dessert with ice cream, and even “breakfast dinners”. The no-syrup secret, is caramelized Belgian pearl sugar which adds a touch of sweetness to the waffle. Woof and Wags Bakery (Pottstown, PA) Woof and Wags Barkery is happy to offer a wide variety of dog treats for your canine friend. In a world of pet treat recalls, we offer a healthy alternative to store bought treats. Our treats are made with 100% human grade ingredients and each one of our treats are hand rolled and made fresh weekly. Our treats do not contain any added preservatives. We offer a variety of grain free options for those with a grain allergy and we can also customize treats to suit your dog’s dietary needs. No bones about it, our treats have been known to cause excessive tail-wagging! Bi-Weekly Vendor
